Ulster County Felony Case Split

The published instructions matter because the $5 fee and turnaround belong to the County Clerk's felony holdings, not to every local court in Ulster County.
Courts do not use the ordinary county FOIL route for their judicial case files. A requester should go to the court clerk under court access rules. FOIL remains the route for executive-agency records, such as police, sheriff, jail, probation, or District Attorney agency records, subject to exemptions and redaction.

A disposition means the court's outcome. A certificate of disposition is the clerk-certified statement of that outcome. Neither should be confused with an arrest report, which records enforcement action and does not prove guilt.
